Where do I start when talking about this soap other than to say that I am a huge fan? I purchased this last week, having readreviews on the scent I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. I knew the lather would be excellent as this is something raved about across the internet. Let me start by saying this scent is awesome. It a sweet, creamy, chocolatey cookie scent and it’s something you must try!
Scent – The scent reminds me of a chocolate cookie that is sweet, creamy, and fluffy. It’s a great smell, and almost something I’d expect my wife to have as a candle in our kitchen. The smell maintains in the lather and will stay on your skin afterwards, although quite faint.
Lather – This is the part that I am extremely happy about. I LOVE when my soaps produce a thick, creamy lather. I want one that will stay moist and not dry out. This soap flat out delivers on this. I am very pleased with the thickness and effectiveness of the lather during application.
Loading Of My Brush – A very friendly and easy soap to load. Right now I am using a basic Art of Shaving Pure Badger Brush. The Mickey Lee Drunken Goat loaded quite easily in under a minute.
Price – I paid $13.00 USD for a 3.3 ounce tub. I expect this tub to last quite awhile, so the value is good.
Ingredients – This soap features a great ingredient list of Stearic Acid, Tallow, Coconut Oil, Guinness,Goat Milk, Potassium Hydroxide, Sodium Hydroxide, Castor Oil, Glycerin, Shea Butter,Lanolin, Fragrance.
